Mike Woodson brought Tyson Chandler into his office to tell him to be more aggressive on offense. It was somewhat
new to the defensive-minded Chandler and reigning NBA Defensive Player of the Year.
Chandler has always been a hustle and energy player who doesn’t have many plays run for him.
He said in his 12-year NBA career, Byron Scott was the only coach to do that before Woodson.
Chandler was 10-for-11 against Orlando with 21 points.
“He told me I needed to be more aggressive around the ball, I needed to get more active and I took his advice,” Chandler said.
