Simply let go of the expectation that he pitches in. If you take the housework you expect to get done, divide it in half, and understand that his half won't be getting done, voila! Sure, women are still doing all the housework, but it's half as much. Easy-peasy. She does less housework, he doesn't have to do any work, everyone wins. Right?!
