Here you see a physiotherapist in Germany guiding his pig, Felix, into a car at a senior care facility in Gelsenkirchen. Felix has been specially trained to provide emotional therapy to the elderly and to handicapped children. According to Felix's pigpapa, contact with Felix helps stimulate curiosity, activity and alertness, enabling patients to find a (more) positive channel for their emotions. So why a pig? Probably because they're companionable, cute & cunningly clever.
