Do-nothing Congress heads back to DC to do nothing for 2 more weeks. Is this what you voted for?
Congress, including newly appointed sacrificial lamb Paul Ryan, is set to return to Washington after five weeks off, to hold about two weeks of sessions before their next recess. One can only imagine what kinds of major non-work they'll do during those two weeks.
Last time they left, five weeks ago, they left a farm bill on the table, although they had plenty of time to pretend to kill Medicare and Obamacare, and to pretend to pass several bills limiting reproductive choice. They also had plenty of time to ignore the American Jobs Act, which celebrated its first birthday this past Saturday.
Thus far this session, a whopping 151 bills have become law, and 38 of those have been to name post offices. The Congress these clowns replaced because they were supposedly ineffective passed 383 laws. And keep in mind, that doesn't include the 375 bills passed by the House and blicked by filibuster in the Senate.

The 2010 election was a mistake. It's not enough to reelect President Obama; we have to replace the Republicans in Congress, as well, if we're to begin fixing this.
