The explosive Heck story in BuzzFeed

Democrats raised this stuff about the congressman's first wife during his last race, but did not get a story written. BuzzFeed's John Stanton had a tough call to make: No police or hospital records. But there was a court document that alleged abuse. Under the circumstances, I think he handled it about as well as he could, with a good sub-head and strong denials from Heck and outrage from his current wife. It's pretty revolting politics, but the real question is: Will the Democrats use it in paid media?
