#NBAKings - DeMarcus Cousins & Keith Smart hopeful no suspension coming for flagrant shove to Vince Carter:
Has Cousins received word from the NBA about the flagrant foul 2 he earned in last night's 117-112 loss to the Dallas Mavericks?
"I haven't heard anything personally," Cousins said after practice Friday. "But I kind of got word back that I may have a chance, but I'm not really 100 percent sure."
The Kings big man says he wouldn't be shocked to get a call from the league office. Following his low blow to OJ Mayo last month, a league official spoke to him about that incident.
"I am expecting a call," said Cousins. "I'm pretty sure that they investigated it, but I haven't heard anything about it."
Kings coach Keith Smart says the 22-year-old big man was "dejected" and was one of the last guys to leave the locker room late last night.
"He was real, really, really remorseful about that situation," Smart said. "But you just gotta get through it. And whatever happens, happens. But for the most part, let's see if we can just continue to get better. You're doing a hell of a job with how your composure is on the floor, how you are in practice with your teammates. You gotta keep building on that."
Smart is "anticipating that he'll be in the lineup for sure" against the Miami Heat.
