Hackers claim to have breached a laptop used by the FBI. That laptop had over 12 million User IDs on it.
The list was of iOS devices and included Unique Device Identifiers (UDID), user names, name of device, type of device, Apple Push Notification Service tokens, zipcodes, cellphone numbers, addresses, etc.
Yeah - this is not good. Luckily, the hackers have released a small subset of the numbers you can check to see if your device is included. Unfortunately, even if your number isn't on the list, it doesn't mean you're secure. The good news is the UDIDs themselves are rather harmless in isolation.
The big questions being asked are - WTF was the FBI doing with that information? Why did they have it? Why was it unsecured? http://thenextweb.com/apple/2012/09/04/antisec-hackers-leak-1000001-apple-device-ids-allegedly-obtained-fbi-breach/
