Ryan Dempster is poised to be traded by this time tomorrow, and in a talk with reporters today it sure sounded like he was open to going to Atlanta or somewhere other than Atlanta. He has said he won't discuss particular cities until he's approached by Theo Epstein with a deal, but he doesn't sound like a guy who is stonewalling a trade. Said Dempster: "Baseball is a game of adjustments, and that's the way I'm looking at this ... I've got all kinds of gut feelings ... You can have expectations, but things can change, go different directions. You see it every year at the trade deadline. I'm just going to do whatever I can to be ready to pitch tomorrow, until they tell me something different ... There's no right or wrong decision. I just have to adjust to whatever the situation is. There's tons of rumors ... Sometimes the rumors are true; sometimes there are rumors that aren't true.''
