Don't be surprised if the White Sox test Miguel Cabrera with some bunts tonight.
Jim Leyland had talked about using Cabrera as his DH tonight after a 2-error game last night in which it seemed clear his right ankle was bothering him. He decided to keep him in the field, using Brennan Boesch as the DH against lefty Francisco Liriano. "We'll have everybody bunt on (Cabrera),'' Robin Ventura joked. "We'll get him tired.'' One of the two errors on Cabrera in Friday's game came on a Gordon Beckham bunt. Ventura said he believes Cabrera's sore ankle could actually be an asset for him at the plate. Said Ventura: "He's just playing. You can see the way he's moving around that he's hurt. It probably helps him hit. He doesn't go out early for (pitches), lunge ... it keeps him back.''
