Your #Dodgers hamstring updates for today (Kemp, Crawford):
Dodgers mgr Don Mattingly said Matt Kemp was "upbeat" after his workout this afternoon and will likely increase his activity level tomorrow.
"By the time we leave San Diego (after a four-game series there this weekend), I'm hoping Matt can go start to play in a rehab setting," Mattingly said. "But that's me talking, not medical (staff)."
Meanwhile, Carl Crawford is hitting, throwing and doing some running at the training complex in Arizona. According to Mattingly, Crawford did fine running in straight lines but "was still feeling it as he ran the curves" of the basepaths.
"I've always thought of Carl as being behind Matt (in terms of a timetable)," Mattingly said.
