ESPN's Keith Law is famous for not liking moves but he was onboard with Rick Hahn's
first trade -- acquiring 25-year-old outfielder Blake Tekotte from the Padres today. Law was asked on Twitter if Tekotte is an organization guy and answered, "Good fourth OF. Like him a lot.'' Looking at Tekotte's resume, it's easy to see why. He's a left-handed hitter with speed and power (19 homers, 38 stolen bases in 2011) but didn't produce as expected last season, leading to the Padres designating him for assignment in advance of the trade. Hahn says Tekotte was bothered by a hamstring injury last season at Triple-A Tucson and also got into some bad habits trying to make some changes in his swing. The White Sox hope he can get back on track in 2013, and if he does he could wind up in the role that Dewayne Wise played down the stretch. Interesting guy, and even Law agrees.
