Jay Cutler has a message for #Bears fans at Soldier Field when the offense is in the red zone: Zip it.
“Please, please, please let’s tone it down a little bit when we’re down in the 20," Cutler said after the victory over the Colts Sunday. "You’re more than welcome to tell and scream and do whatever you want to do after we score, but please let’s go ahead and quiet the stadium down and save it for after we score. Thank you. That’s my PSA.”
This isn’t a new issue for the Bears. The team regularly pipes in crowd noise at practice before home games. The team invented a 4th Phase scheme a few years ago, a takeoff of the 12th man in Seattle. But the 4th Phase doesn’t help, not as far as the offensive players are concerned.
