Bulls' reserves logged combined 40:02 vs. Bucks. "They're capable," Tom Thibodeau said. "They've all shown signs."
But a closer look at Monday's games shows how tight Thibodeau's rotation became, at least for one game.
Of the four other non-overtime games decided by seven points or less, Portland used its bench the next least amount at 60 minutes. The Grizzlies played their reserves 61:21; the Cavaliers' 71:17, the Pistons' 73:55, the Nuggets' 85:42 and the Jazz at 102:07.
"Jimmy (Butler) is playing very well for us," Thibodeau said. "I think Taj (Gibson) is starting to come around. Nate (Robinson) has had some very good games. We still have some work to do but we have to keep our concentration on improving. We have to close out games better."
