K.C Johnson's post on Chicago Bulls | Latest updates on Sulia
Tom Thibodeau recruited Jamal Crawford extensively in 2011 free agency. "He's never afraid of taking the big shot."
The Bulls ended up with Richard Hamilton, who has played well but also been hurt often. Crawford endured a miserable lockout season in Portland but has found a home and happiness with the Clippers. He could win his second Sixth Man of the Year award.
The Bulls ended up signing Hamilton for what they originally offered Crawford. But Crawford initially thought his free-agent market would be more extensive.
Thibodeau's love for Crawford is obvious.
"He’s something," Thibodeau said. "He’s done it for a long time too. It doesn’t take much to get him going. You can’t give him any room. He has the ability to take and make tough shots."
