Random thoughts from the final day of Bengals rookie minicamp practice
-- The highlight of the session was Tyler Eifert making another great catch in the center of the field while being covered by two defenders. During the red zone drills, Eifert lined up at the slot and then was split far left on back-to-back plays.
-- John Clay, who was a tryout player, had a slight scare when he appeared to injure his left knee. Clay was looked at on the field for 5 minutes but got up and looked to be walking regularly at the end of practice.
-- Sixth-round pick Rex Burkhead was on the field but did not take part on the practice. The reason was undetermined.
-- They did kick return drills during one part of practice. The sight of Margus Hunt running downfield on kick coverage is impressive, even though it was only in shorts and there was no contact.
