-- Georgetown forward Otto Porter Jr. is expected to work out for only the top three teams in the draft — the Cavs, No. 2 Orlando and No. 3 Washington — a source said. He's expected to work out for the Cavs this week, by himself.
-- Noel will visit with the Cavs on June 20 for his formal interview, ESPN reported.
-- Imagine if flashy guard Ben McLemore had stayed at Kansas. He would have teamed with star-in-the making Andrew Wiggins to form a dynamic duo. "It would have been crazy," McLemore said. "I don't see anybody stopping that. I know (Wiggins is) a great player."
-- Small forward Sergey Karasev (6-7, 197) has returned to Russia after spending a few days working out in Las Vegas, according to Yahoo! Sports. That has led some to believe he has a first-round promise. Supposedly, the Cavs are very high on Karasev and might consider drafting him at 19.
-- Serbian forward Dario Saric (6-10, 223) has pulled out of the draft. It's a curious decision because he would have been a sure first-round pick. Next year's draft is supposedly one of the strongest in years.
-- McLemore must have had some AAU team in the St. Louis area. He played with Wizards guard Bradley Beal. "It was a great squad," McLemore said. "I loved playing with him, being on that stage with him. For the first time being in the spotlight, bright lights and stuff, it was great playing with him. Watching him and knowing he could be a potential draft pick, and now me being a potential draft pick, it's crazy." Beal tried to recruit Porter, another St. Louis alum, but he wouldn't join the team.
-- The Cavs are extremely high on Indiana shooting guard Victor Oladipo (6-4 1/4, 213). A source said they are keeping that interest very quiet.
