This little how-to at Mary and Patch has me pretty hopped up. She found what looks like a little cutting die at a flea market, and uses it to demonstrate how to make rubbings onto fabric. As in, you place something textured under the fabric, and rub over the top with an oil pastel. Then you heat set it.
...So now I'm looking at every cookie cutter, rubber stamp, foreign coin, basket, plastic canvas sheet, and embossed greeting card in the house. Let's decorate some fabric, people!
