Mavs hoping to get Chris Kaman close to 100 percent
DALLAS -– Because of his importance to the Dallas Mavericks, coach Rick Carlisle has been studying what’s going on with center Chris Kaman.
This past Saturday against Charlotte, Kaman played his first game of the season after recovering from a strained right calf. From early indication, Kaman got out of the game unscatched after scoring 16 points on 8-of-9 shooting and grabbing four rebounds in 20 minutes.
“He seems to be doing well,’’ Carlisle said after Monday’s shootaround at American Airlines Center.
“The key thing is moving him in the direction of 100 percent health.
“He’s gotten a couple of good days and we’ll get ready for tonight and hopefully it’ll go well again tonight.’’
