As negotiations begin this summer on a new CBA, keep in mind what NHL deputy commissioner Bill Daly told me last year about the #Isles and revenue sharing: “We have certainly heard from the Isles and others over the years as to why that provision may be unfair in their circumstances. Revenue sharing is something we have collectively bargained with the union. We have a CBA coming up, and I suspect the revenue sharing model is something that’s going to be looked at closely. There may be changes.”
