D'Antoni got annoyed with questions from T.J. Simers of LA Times today suggesting D'Antoni is upset with Dwight ...
for not playing through the pain in his shoulder.
"I am telling the truth," D'Antoni said. "I'm not miffed at him. If he's hurt, he's hurt. I just don't know. I wish he could play."
Simers: "You think he's a baby?"
D'Antoni, laughing: "No, I don't. No."
D'Antoni continued to maintain his position through more questions while saying Simers could go to "some sniveling little rat and ask them what they think I'm thinking. But that's fine. Whatever you want to do. Y'all do y'all's job, I'll do mine."
Eventually, Simers asked again if D'Antoni thought Howard was a baby, and D'Antoni retorted (not laughing): "I said no! I said no 10 times. I said no."
D'Antoni got annoyed with Simers' questioning earlier this season in Milwaukee when asked whether the Lakers practice any defense.
