Chris Bosh of Heat said not a candidate for 2014 World Cup in Spain but has interest at this point in 2016 Olympics
"It’s tough, with kids and everything,’’ Bosh, the Heat forward and 2008 Olympic gold medalist, told FOX Sports Florida. “I would always like to be in consideration and stuff like that… Probably just the Olympics. I got kids, man. They need attention.’’
Bosh, who also played for Team USA in the 2006 Worlds and dropped out of the 2012 Olympics due to injury, said the time will come when he talks with USA Basketball chairman Jerry Colangelo.
“I think it’s going to have that point in time when we have the conversation and talk it out and see where it’s at and they’ll see where I’m at and they’ll figure something out,’’ Bosh said. “They (USA Basketball) always do a great job of just letting you be and when it’s time, it’s time (to talk).’’
Such a call is not expected to happen until after the playoffs.
