Miami point guard Shane Larkin's uncle, who played hoops, believes he should at least test NBA draft waters.

Shane Larkin's uncle, Byron Larkin, starred at Xavier and was in NBA training camps before playing overseas for six years. “It would be smart to test the waters,’’ Byron said of his nephew. “Even if he put his name in and it doesn’t work out, he could still come back (to Miami). I think it would make him a better player just going though the process and and gaining knowledge and experience.’’
