Ready for a miracle? Or not? Here's my prediction for Sunday's Giants-Eagles game ...
Don’t tell me that a team that is 11 months removed from a championship is going to play for “pride, dignity, honor” or whatever other false idol you can find. If they were playing for that, where was it the last two weeks? Why didn’t their pride, dignity or honor kick in when they still had their playoff destiny in their own hands? ... They are tired, deflated, increasingly injured and believe me, they know they have nothing left to play for. ... Oh, and if you’re looking for football reasons and not mental reasons why I’m picking the Eagles, it all has to do with the battered state of the Giants’ secondary. ... I just don’t think they have enough left in their tank to pull the miracle off.
