Amar'e Stoudemire will practice today with the D-League Erie BayHawks in Westchester and the #Knicks will decide
where to go from there.
It's possible Stoudemire could play Friday vs. Chicago or Sunday vs. Minnesota at the Garden -- but not date has been set.
"It's going to be entirely up to him and the doctors in terms of how he's feeling," Knicks coach Mike Woodson said Wednesday. "If he says he's ready, then I trust that and I'll play him."
Stoudemire said earlier this week that he would be willing to come off the bench in his return.
“It doesnt matter,” he said. “Whatever it takes to win. I’m totally open to it. I’ve been here for three years now, you guys should know how much of a team player I am.
"I’ve played with a team in Phoenix that was strictly about — it was a team-oriented game and the same applies here in New York.”
