Woodson made a telling remark yesterday about how he views the state of "the team'' when he second-guessed taking
Carmelo out for a two-minute breather yesterday to start the fourth quarter. Melo, as it was, logged 43 minutes. Woodson's trust in his bench is starting to wane just a little. "I sat Melo to start the fourth to give him a blow,'' Woodson said. "In hindsight, I should have let him keep going. The two-minute stretch we dug ourselves a hole. I went back with our starters and at that time Melo had cooled off and we couldn't get into an offensive flow.'' Anthony was surprised at Woodson's observation. He indicated this is not the team to try to play all 48 minutes.
