Brewer, who had minor knee surgery on Sept. 6, practiced for the first time on Wednesday, but was held out of the scrimmage. A determination will be made today, depending on how his knee responds, whether or not he will scrimmage in practice. “I just got to get the training staff to be a little more lenient with me, allow me to go through the entire practice and hopefully [Thursday] I’ll do that," he said. "I feel like I’m ready, my knee is pain-free. Just trying to get my legs back under me.”
