Iman Shumpert went through non-contact drills with the Knicks, which is the most he's done with them since May. Now
the next step for Shumpert, who had knee surgery in May, is getting clearance for contact.
After the drills, Shumpert worked out on one of the side courts with assistant coaches, where he worked on basketball as well and strength and conditioning.
Mike Woodson said he still doesn't have a date for when Shumpert will be back.
"That I don’t know," Woodson said. "He’s right on schedule. Today he did a bunch of the conditioning work for the first time with us and that was nice to see and he had a lot of pop in his step but he couldn’t do any contact yet so that’s the next step as we move up the road for him."
