A lot of fans wonder why Marcus Camby isn't playing much. Mike Woodson addressed it on his show last week. More:
"Marcus is still nursing his foot and I'm just picking and choosing games," Woodson explained.
Camby has been dealing with a plantar fascia issue in his left foot for most of the season. But he has been on the active roster since the all-star break.
With injuries to Rasheed Wallace, Amar'e Stoudemire and lately to Tyson Chandler, Woodson pointed to the importance of keeping Camby intact for the playoffs.
"I just hope fans understand I'm walking a tight rope here with our bigs and trying to keep them healthy," Woodson added. "Marcus Camby might not play a lot of minutes . . . That's not a knock on Marcus, but I'm trying to keep him for the long run."
