Ronnie Brewer and Marcus Camby are on this three-game road trip with the #Knicks, but neither are expected to play:
"Until he has some contact, which he hasn't had yet, we're not going to let him play," Woodson said of Brewer, who returned to practice on Wednesday after missing the start of training camp because of offseason knee surgery.
"When we get back and practice, he'll have a chance to go through some contact and we'll see how he feels."
Brewer will participate in workouts and shoot-arounds with the team on this trip, but that's about it.
As for Camby (calf strain), Woodson seemed to rule out any chance the veteran will play. He suggested his presence on the trip was more for Camby's mental health.
"We brought him out because he hasn't been around the team and he needed a little change of air for him," Woodson said.
Camby was allowed to make the trip because he can still get the treatment he needs in and participate in walk-throughs and meetings. But as for seeing the court, Woodson said, "he won't play until he actually gets out on the floor and starts banging around [in practice]."
