Galvis, playing in his first organized game since June 6, went 4 for 5 with a home run in the Venezuelan League opener for Aguilas del Zulia. He played shortstop. Meanwhile, Darin Ruf did not play left field in his debut. He was 1 for 4 with a double batting cleanup as designated hitter for Tiburones de La Guaira.
