You thought the Warriors would not take on the identity of their coach once Nellie left? Think again, says
Pacers PG George Hill. After Saturday night's 103-92 loss to the Warriors, Hill described them as playing "the way Mark Jackson played when he was in Indiana." The Warriors aren't great dribble penetrators, but their ability to play unselfishly, swing the ball and use their strength to bump a defender off and make shots around the rim has them at the top of the Pacific Division and 10-6 for the first time in seven years. Hill, an Indy native who played at IUPUI, said he grew up watching "the Mark Jackson era" with the Pacers and studied his post game, in particular. "I used to talk to him all the time," Hill said. "I still reach out to him at times. I wasn't ever a point guard in college and I feel as if I'm still improving as one. He's been really helpful."
