Steelers 'Young Money' crew not as good as they think they are, biggest disappointment of season thus far ...
Who to start with?
Mike Wallace's troubles have been well-chronicled. He was a huge factor in home loss to Ravens (fumble, failure to come down with TD catch in corner) and road loss to Browns (somehow turned a slant slightly behind him into an interception). Wallace flubbed what should have been a fairly easy catch today but otherwise had a good game.
Antonio Brown had a large hand in the Raiders' loss with a late fumble. He completely lost his mind today, with the fumble on the punt return, two drops (unofficial count), his legendary stand-60-yards-away-from-punter play and selfishly going out of bounds before a Steelers punt, apparently because he was upset. Wow. And this guy was the team MVP last season? Brown is still looking for his first 100-yard game of the season.
Emmanuel Sanders would have been the goat of the game at Baltimore for his fumble and his drop -- a similar play to the one he dropped on the Steelers' first drive today, ruining it before it got going. Does anyone believe that Sanders is an adequate option as No. 2 receiver if Wallace leaves?
Young money has been counterfeit money so far this season. The only good news (I think) is that they still have time to make up for it.
