Is Roethlisberger done for the year?

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin was asked Wednesday if he is confident that Ben Roethlisberger will play again this year following his severe rib/shoulder injury Monday. By words alone you can take that as Tomlin is really worried about the possibility that Roethlisberger is done for year. But standing right next to him and interpreting the way he said it, it was more like 'why would you even ask that question?' Seemed like a fair question to me, right?
