You may not want to hear this, but you know who played well on defense against the Raiders?
Casey Hampton had only one assisted tackle during his 28 snaps against the Raiders, and looked slow and lost while trying to chase down Carson Palmer on one occasion. Saying that, Hampton played well. What we tend to forget is that Hampton isn't supposed to make tackles or chase quarterbacks all over the field. He is paid to occupy blocks and clog up the middle, and that's what he did. Even the 64-yard touchdown run by Darren McFadden had nothing to do with Hampton -- he was exactly where he was supposed to be on the play. Problem was that his teammates weren't.
