Steelers release a tight end ... SURPRISE

The Steelers announced today that they released tight end Weslye Saunders. Saunders just came off a four-game suspension for violation the NFL's drug policy. There was speculuation that the Steelers would release Leonard Pope. Pope has played just 3 snaps the past two games and has been supplanted on the depth chart by rookie David Paulson
