DeMarcus Cousins with an interesting postgame media session
DeMarcus Cousins hasn't been at his best lately. After six consecutive double-doubles, he hasn't recorded double-digit rebounds in his last three games.
He also scored only three points in Saturday's loss at Denver.
Keith Smart sat Cousins in the fourth quarter of Monday's win at Washington.
Here was Cousins on the game:
"I just feel like they made some big plays down the stretch, an incredible shot by I.T. at the end. It was a great stop at the end on Nene. Tyreke did a great job of digging on that play (to force Martell Webster off the three-point line late).
They did a good job on the defensive end tonight and came out with a big win."
Cousins on his play of late. I asked if teams were taking him out of what he wanted to do.
“I wouldn’t even blame it on the other teams,” Cousins said. “It’s not that. That’s not the case.”
Is it his fault?
“Not me either,” Cousins said.
Cousins would not say who was to blame.
“I answered it,” Cousins said. “That’s how it is.”
