With trade deadline approaching, it's worth reiterating: don't expect any movement for Sacramento on Thursday.

As reported and speculated, don't expect the Kings to make any deals leading up to or at the trade deadline. During Sunday's All-Star event, a league exec told me the Kings are restricted in any kind of possible trade scenarios. They can't do any deals that add to payroll because of the team's current ownership situation. The NBA's annual trade deadline is Feb. 21.
