that teams might want be more cautious about completing free-agent deals ahead of the winter meetings, until they see the list of nontendered players. Economics 101 says the more players on the market, the more leverage teams have, especially richer teams that can afford to sign quality players who will be nontendered by poorer teams who just can't afford their salaries.
