A note involving Angel Pagan: As usual, the free-agent market is at a crawl as players wait

for the top guys at their positions to set the market by signing. In center field (removing the unique case of Josh Hamilton), Michael Bourn and B.J. Upton are at the top. Once they sign, I think you'll see second-tier guys sign fairly quickly, and Pagan is in that group. I have not heard anything to suggest the Giants are in on Bourn or Upton, as Phils and Braves bid up their prices.
