---------------- Republicans just can't quite figure out what to do about lady parts. I honestly can't believe we're having the debates we're having in 2012, but it's pretty clear that there is one major party in our democracy now being driven by adolescent male angst and sexual self-loathing. It would be pathetic - actually it is pathetic - if it weren't so scary. This week we were reintroduced to a popular species on the Right known as the Larry Craig Republican. This is the GOPer who would ban for you exactly the behavior in which they are engaging - sometimes with the help of tap dancing shoes in your local airport bathroom stall. This time, however, it is not gay rights. It is the dreaded A-word, also known as abortion rights. As explained by The Huffington Post about new poster boy for It's Only OK If I Do It, Rep. Scott DesJarlais (R-Tenn.), "A pro-life, family-values congressman who worked as a doctor before winning election as a tea party-backed Republican had an affair with a patient and later pressured her to get an abortion," according to a phone call transcript.
