Yet more (potential) trouble for #Patriots TE Hernandez.
Aaron Hernandez is having one heck of a June offseason. In addition to having police search his house, investigate him and his associates, Hernandez has been named in a lawsuit by a man who claims the Patriots TE shot him in the face.
According to multiple reports, a Connecticut man claims Hernandez shot him in the face in February of this year. And now that man is suing Hernandez over the incident.
USA Today's Mike Garafalo has more on the story and the lawsuit which was
"A complaint filed last Thursday in a South Florida district court by attorneys for Alexander S. Bradley alleges Hernandez aimed a gun at the plaintiff and discharged the weapon as the two were in a vehicle traveling from Miami toward Palm Beach, Fla., on or about Feb. 13."
The problem now for the plaintiff is that the Miami-Dade police have no record of the incident.
"We continue to receive inquiries regarding an alleged incident involving professional athlete, Aaron Hernandez. After conducting research and based on the information that was received, the Miami-Dade Police Department does not have any documented incident on record," Det. Javier Baez said in a statement.
