The electronics industry still needs to work on that whole change-the-ratio thing
One of the constants at CES is seeing a lot of young women standing around exhibits in what you might call fabric-efficient outfits. (Not every company does this; many big-name firms eschew "booth babe" attire in favor of company logowear for both genders.) Another is seeing relatively few women in leadership roles. (That's not a universal description--most of the CEA managers who actually run CES are women--and this issue is not isolated to the consumer-electronics industry.)
I don't really know why this situation persists or what to do about it, but it is a reality and it would be wrong to leave it unacknowledged.
