RB Steven Jackson the latest free agent not to burst out laughing when the Giants are mentioned.
The man is looking for a job, so of course he's going to be open to about 31 different situations. So it's not exactly news when a radio host asks a guy like Jackson about the Giants and he sounds amenable to playing for them. Such was the case today on @SiriusXMNFL.
“The Giants are a great, great organization and I was a part of the draft class with Eli Manning so I definitely have been following his career for quite some time now," Jackson told @TimRyan99 and @PatKirwinCBS. "They have a great young runner. If they are interested I sure would listen.”
Jackson would have to split time with David Wilson if he came here, of course.
"That’s where a very open dialogue has to take place. I’ve opted out of my position of being with the team (the Rams) and being comfortable because I want to continue to still be the bell cow. So that’s how I want teams to look at me. That’s how I’m going to shop myself and we’ll cross that bridge when we get there if that’s not the feedback that we’re receiving.”
